Success in 2025 and Momentum for 2026 – January 2026
As we welcome a new year, Minnewaska Community Health Services is excited to share the latest updates, celebrations, and accomplishments from across our communities.
Minnewaska Community Health Services is rooted in connection, purpose, and compassionate care. Across all of our communities—including Minnewaska Lutheran Home, Glacial Trails Memory Care, Holly Ridge Manor, Hoffman Senior Living, Traverse Care Center and Country View Senior Living —our teams work every day to ensure residents experience joy, engagement, dignity, and belonging.
Our focus for 2026 year will be to build upon the successes and the momentum of 2025. Management staff will be working through some strategic planning in the first quarter of 2026 to begin to prepare for what we feel will be new opportunities to improve on the success we’ve experienced. To ensure that we are true to our mission, we have pledged to use our expertise in healthcare and our passion for others to ensure that these rural communities are well-served into the future.
Each year, Minnewaska Community Health Services proudly recognizes the remarkable dedication of our staff across all communities. Their years of service reflect compassion, commitment, and a deep devotion to enriching the lives of our residents. We are grateful for the impact each team member makes every day.

Thank again to generous support from the Gladys Ness Brang Foundation and the MCHS Auxiliary, the Mobii interactive table projection system has been a big hit among all the residents and for team members to use at community events.
This innovative tool features custom sensory games and interactive activities designed to support engagement, cognition, and meaningful social interaction. Residents are already enjoying everything the system has to offer, and we are incredibly grateful to those who helped make this enhancement possible.
