Meet Michelle Ehrenberg, our new administrator for the Minnewaska Lutheran Home. Michelle is originally from the Boyd/Clarkfield area and graduated from Yellow Medicine East High School. She attended the University of Minnesota Crookston to receive her bachelor’s degree before obtaining her Nursing Home Administrator license. When she first started searching for nursing homes to work at she looked for ones that best fit her values, and that is when she came across the Minnewaska Lutheran Home. She started off as an intern under the instruction of Chris Knoll, CEO of MCHS. After putting in over 1,000 hours at her internship she gained a lot of first-hand knowledge on how operations work within a nursing home. Throughout her career she has almost 20 years of healthcare experience including long term care, assisted living, home care, and emergency care. Michelle’s job will mostly consist of overseeing day to day operations at the nursing home and she will also help manage the Minnewaska Apartments, all while continuing to be a volunteer EMT in Clarkfield where she currently lives. Michelle lives with her husband and two daughters (7 & 3 years old). She loves taking her family out on camping trips and is an avid hunter and fisher. Her favorite thing to do on her off time is to explore the outdoors with her family and relax on the lake. We could not be more excited to have Michelle as she brings a lot of experience along with a very outgoing and welcoming personality. Welcome aboard Michelle Ehrenberg!

“I’ve always had a passion for rural stand alone nursing homes and spending time with senior citizens. I’m excited to work with a great group of people and to be apart of a community that provides excellent person-centered care.”
